He has 12 years in higher education facility management in the areas of housing, athletics, inventory and warehouse control, physical plant administrator for the planning-maintenance-construction, grounds and landscape operations, custodial services and emergency preparedness. A College of Business Graduate at  Northwestern State University. Is a Certified "Educational Facilities Professional" (EFP) and has completed numerous training and certification sessions. Active in university and city committees and organizations.
