  • Purchased recycling containers for placement throughout campus
  • NSU Recycling Program kicks off August 4th 
  • Tree trimming and raising throughout campus for safety and Fall Preparation
  • President's home landscape enhancements
  • NSU named "Tree Campus USA University" by the Arbor Day Foundation
  • NSU "Normal Hill" cleanup, tree removal
  • Landscape architect completes Normal Hill plans
  • Gresham Family Memorial fund provides funds to plant shrubs and trees on campus
  • Completed updates for Emergency Preparedness
  • Replace custodial supplies for cost savings and environmental friendly products.

CONTINUING PROJECTS:

  • Continuing improvements at campus entrance gates
  • Developing plan to plant over 100 new trees
  • Plant ground cover grasses
  • Removal of dead and diseased trees
  • Design "Quick Reference" brochure for Emergency Preparedness
  • Replacement of restroom fixtures
